Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing any order with Jane Abbott China (Jane Abbott Design Ltd.) By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

Ownership of rights:
All rights, including copyright, on this website are owned by or licensed to Jane Abbott China. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, delete, distribute or post anything on this website for any purpose. Reproduction strictly by permission only. All text, graphics, photographic images, patterns and designs on all Jane Abbott China products are protected by copyright, design rights, trade mark rights and other intellectual property rights, which are owned by Jane Abbott Design Ltd.
PLACING AN ORDER
Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order:
We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. This does not constitute acceptance of your order, nor does any payment that is processed prior to order dispatch. If we are unable to fulfil your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon physical dispatch of the product(s) ordered.

We may not accept your order if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. Please note that we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
Subject to availability, if you select ‘Standard Delivery’ we aim to deliver the goods to you within 5-7 working days of receipt of your payment. In the event of a delay, affecting our ability to achieve this delivery timescale we will email you with the option to accept the delayed delivery or cancel your order.
Delivery outside of the UK:
Delivery can be made to countries overseas as well as within the UK and Channel Islands. Our delivery service may require a signature, we are therefore unable to deliver to PO Boxes. For more information, see delivery information or email:firstname.lastname@example.org.
You should inspect the products upon receipt and check that everything specified is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem or you cancel your order in accordance with your cancellation right and / or you return the goods in accordance with our returns policy and procedure. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the goods at a later date.
If you change your mind about your order you may return it for exchange or refund, provided it is sent to us in its original unused condition with proof of purchase & the original packaging within 7 days. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the carriage costs incurred. We can offer an exchange, or a refund to the purchaser’s credit card.
On the rare occasion you may receive a faulty or damaged item, please notify us as soon as you can, within 3 days of receipt. We will do our best to ensure we deal with the situation as quickly as possible: it may be necessary to ask you to send us a photograph of the item so that we can decide what the best course of action will be. You would be entitled to an exchange or refund on the item should you wish, and we would reimburse any postage costs incurred if we require you to send the item back to us. If you wish to be reimbursed for the postage costs this must be approved by us in advance of the item being returned, and the costs being incurred by you. PRODUCTS, PRICES & CONTENT
All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated, and exclusive of delivery charges. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered and delivery charges as set out in the delivery section of this website.
We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.
The colours shown on this website are displayed as accurately as possible. However, please note that as the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. Colour reproduction is a close representation, however every piece of china is individual and variations in actual goods may occur.
Accuracy of content:
Every care has been taken in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that the descriptions, specifications and prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.
LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT:
Please remember that when we accept your submitted order for goods on this website, there will be a legally binding contract.
Ownership of Goods:
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Jane Abbott China until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
You have the legal right to return your order within seven working days of receiving the goods (with the exception of bespoke orders). For further details of how to return goods please see our returns information and procedure. Your statutory rights are not affected.
If you wish to cancel your order before dispatch, please contact us. Please cancel your order within 24 hours (i.e. before dispatch) to avoid incurring delivery charges.
