Jane Abbott is one of Britain’s leading contemporary fine bone china & textile designers and one of a handful dedicated to rejuvenating the art of heritage homeware. 

Specialising in water colours Jane has developed a reputation for creating elegant, traditional designs with an exquisite contemporary twist, taking inspiration from British gardens, wild flowers, and the countryside.

Her collection includes mugs, jugs and tableware, fabrics and homeware.

Jane is currently working on an exciting collaboration and a range of bespoke and private commissions whilst releasing new designs.

The Heritage range was born out of a desire to create a premium collection that connected my paintings and designs of flora and fauna with luxury and quality, using fully sustainable sourced materials and made by British craftsmen.

The range has a gentle and nostalgic beauty and is specially made for me by Duchess China, who have been manufacturing Fine Bone China products in Stoke-on-Trent, the historical home of pottery in the UK, since 1888. A mix of traditional and modern manufacturing techniques are applied by a team of skilled craftsmanship. This means that over 20 pairs of hands can be involved in making a single piece of Heritage ware.
